Goals of Training:
- Enhance Preparedness: Build the practical skills and knowledge needed to perform daily caregiving responsibilities effectively.
- Promote Safe and Supportive Care: Equip caregivers to handle emergencies, prevent and identify abuse, and address diverse needs with sensitivity.
- Strengthen Documentation Skills: Improve the accuracy and consistency of caregiver notes, ensuring proper communication and documentation.
- Foster Inclusive and Respectful Environments: Emphasize the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in caregiving to create supportive and respectful spaces for all.
Training Requirements: As part of the annual training requirements, caregivers will complete the following trainings:
- CPR Training
- Mandatory Abuse Training
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training
- Caregiver Note Training
- Other additional Training
